CableWorld, Novelda: when engineering makes the difference
CableWorld already had a rooftop solar installation. They wanted to go further: a structure to protect their vehicle fleet and, at the same time, generate even more energy. Several companies proposed conventional pergolas.
A Todo Sol designed something nobody else had proposed: an industrial dual-pitch structure oriented east-west that captures the morning sun on one side and the afternoon sun on the other, maximising production throughout the day.
At the centre of the structure, a charging hub can power up to 4 vehicles simultaneously with 100% solar energy. CableWorld's entire fleet — sales and technical support — is charged under the same pergola that generates the energy.
The result: a drastic reduction in diesel, petrol and electricity bills. A solution that nobody else was capable of offering.
Farm in Cehegín: from diesel generators to full solar power
Deep in the Murcia mountains, an agricultural operation depended entirely on diesel generators to pump water from deep wells and irrigate its crops. No grid electricity, no mobile coverage. Diesel costs exceeded €24,000 per year.
In 2021, A Todo Sol designed and installed a 24 kW off-grid system that allowed them to shut down the generators for good. In 2024, the farm grew and we expanded the installation to 36 kW, modernising the whole system.
Today, the water pumps, irrigation systems and every farm operation run exclusively on solar energy. Even our Tesla made it up there where no other installer wanted to go.
Marcopack, Lorquí: from halting production to running at 100%
Marcopack manufactures packaging machinery in Lorquí, Murcia. Their contracted power was 30 kW, but their machines needed up to 90 kW. The result: they had to stop lines and rotate shifts to avoid exceeding the limit. Upgrading the contracted power was not viable.
A Todo Sol designed a pioneering solution: 5 inverters of 12 kW and 6 batteries of 16 kWh that shave consumption peaks in real time. When the factory demands more than 30 kW, the batteries supply the difference instantly.
The batteries are charged with solar energy or from the grid when demand is low, and discharged when the machines need it. The grid never sees more than 30 kW. The factory runs at full capacity.
